AGE: 88
How would YOU like to be featured on our website and Facebook page?
We wouldn’t be here without our patients; you are more than just a set of ears. We want to know more about you!
Where did you grow up? Chicago, IL
Tell us a little bit about your life: I was born and raised in Chicago. I loved sports and still do. When it comes to Baseball, in Chicago you are either a Cubs fan or a White Sox fan and I am a White Sox fan. I met my wife while we were both in high school, different schools. We met through a Jewish Youth Group. We dated for 5 years and got married and have been married 66 years. We have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren and all of them are beautiful and very smart!
What was your profession?
I was a dentist and I practiced in Chicago and also taught at the University of Illinois for 40 years. I enjoyed both practicing dentistry and teaching students.
What are you most proud of in your life?
My family and the way they have all grown up to be their own persons and have wonderful spouses and children. Nothing can beat that!
What are your hobbies?
Well, I am one who has a lot of them and has mastered none of them! I love photography and along with that, I love Photoshop. I enjoy the computer and get a kick out of Facebook. I love to garden and especially love to grow roses! I play a pretty awful game of chess but I find it fun! I used to be a pretty good golfer but I gave up the game a few years ago. I love automobile travel and love spending hours on the road with my Sirius/XM Radio and the wide variety of stations. I also love classical music and Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer. I guess if you could see me, you would say that eating is one of my hobbies.
What would people be surprised to find out about you?
I am not sure but perhaps that I am so into growing and tending roses. Maybe?
What has improved hearing meant to you?
It has opened up my world to the sounds I had lost. I love my Hearing Aids and the pleasure I derive from them.
